Welcoming New Talent: Karah Holt
Growing up in Fort Meade, FL has instilled Karah with an appreciation for agriculture and a desire to pursue a career in it. Karah attended Florida Southern College and majored in Horticulture and Citrus Science, with a minor in Business. While at FSC, she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha, College Republicans, and First Generation Scholars. She was also Secretary of the ZTA judicial board, and worked part-time at the Florida Citrus Hall of Fame on campus. She not only had a summer internship with Alico, but also at Sunshine Growers, which is an ornamental nursery. In two years, she earned a Bachelors of Science Degree, and is currently in the process of earing her MBA at FSC. Karah has accepted a full-time position at Alico, Inc., as an Assistant Nursery Supervisor in Arcadia, FL.
